Hi there! I’m Derron, a current Financial Analyst at the University Health Network. Outside of work. I’m also a basketball fanatic, have a (healthy) obsession with film and movies, and love working out!
As a recently graduated student from the University of Toronto I’ve been involved in both on and off-campus work, exploring and engaging in the many opportunities that I’m fortunate to be exposed to. I’ve held leadership positions in SEA and ESA (they’re different, don’t be fooled by the initials). I worked to assist businesses in the Scarborough region in 2018 and got paid to look at video game replays in 2019. In 2020, I shifted gears and started my own non-profit to help students through Covid-19. I also began interning in the healthcare field at the University Health Network as a Financial Analyst. Through it all, I picked up a multitude of skills and was fortunate to network with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. As a proud Canadian, I’m also fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
